Emmanuel! Here is the special message from Prophet T.B. Joshua for this season, titled ‘CHOOSE THE PATH OF A CHAMPION’. We encourage and admonish you to send this message to all the people on your email-list and as many people as possible – to spread the Word of God to the four corners of the earth. This is an assignment from God.

Jesus is the centre of Christmas – let us put God where He belongs this season by making His Word the standard for our lives.

CHOOSE THE PATH OF A CHAMPION

We are all love’s products – the sons and daughters of love. Therefore, let us act love, do love. Follow in the light of love; let love lead.

As we approach the New Year 2011, we should love our neighbours as ourselves. Your neighbour could be your enemy, your friend or those who do not share the same faith with you. Love them all. We should let love be uppermost in our hearts because all our doings without love are nothing.

A person who does not love will not forgive. A person who does not forgive cannot receive God’s mercy and favour. This is the reason why many are suffering around the world today.

To show that love is lost in our society today, there are many political parties the members of which belong to different religious faiths and denominations. Yet they eat together, plan together, work together and share positions among themselves. However, when they return to their various places of worship, they begin to criticise, condemn and discriminate against one another. Why? What kind of society is this? This is hypocrisy!

There are many organisations such as places of work owned by religious people with people of different faiths and beliefs working there together. There, they receive their incomes which they take to their various places of worship. Is it not then hypocrisy to see them condemning themselves?

We should be known for our love, irrespective of religion, ethnicity or geographical location:
Love that sees beyond hatred – that is, even when we are hated, we should love.
Love that sees beyond intimidation – that is, even when we are intimidated, we should love.
Love that sees beyond persecution – that is, even when we are persecuted, we should love.

Love is patient; it does not express itself in anger. Love is humble; it does not express itself in arrogance. Love is hope; it does not express itself in self-pity or despair. Love is goodness; it does not express itself in evil.

Yesterday, man was his brother’s keeper, but today, man is his brothers destroyer. For example, yesterday, your neighbour would wake up in the morning and be interested in your welfare, irrespective of religion or background, by saying, ‘Good morning. How are you?’ But today such things no longer exist; we have become strange bedfellows – two people living together, sleeping together but strangers to each other because of religious, economic, political or cultural reasons. This New Year is a year in which your old approach to life cannot be supported by the turn of events.

Therefore, instead of criticising our society and our fellow men, let us do what is good to change the bad we see. Let us walk in the light of love.

The cause of stealing, killing and destruction today is to keep treasures for ourselves, family and relations. But those relations, family and children we are keeping those things for – what becomes of them? What can anyone achieve with stolen things? Greatness and success? No. Peace and comfort? No. This is what becomes of our children today because they are nurtured with stolen wealth.

When we inherit stolen wealth in a will, we would live under a stolen future – thereby mortgaging our future. Remember, what comes from God goes to Him. What comes from truth goes to truth. What comes from stealing goes to stealing. What comes from destruction goes to destruction.

Our leaders, how are you elected? Was it a stolen mandate or the will of the people? Those who created yesterday’s pain cannot control tomorrow’s potential.

Nothing happens for nothing; nothing comes by chance. In the course of my living, I have seen those who succeed and those who choose to fail.

David said in Psalm 37:25 – ‘I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.’

Choose the path of a champion in the New Year.

My God is love – Jesus Christ (1 John 4:8).

Good vs Evil Choose Good

I have kept my feet from every evil path so that I might obey Your word. (Psalm 119:101)
Many people struggle to stay out of trouble. They seem to attract trouble like honey attracts bees. There are people who yearn to do evil and just cannot away from it. It fascinates, deceives and entangles them.

God Keeps His Promises!

People's lives are threatened by all kinds of dangers and calamities. Sickness can attack; natural disasters happen regularly: floods, tsunamis, earthquakes and fires. Road accidents have become everyday occurrences; crime and violence increase daily; there are political uprisings; terrorists and hijackers; and wars. Human error can sometimes result in fatal situations.

Our God Sees All Things

Some people, when they are overwhelmed with problems and difficulties, begin to feel as if they are "lost". Their problems look huge and solutions so difficult to find that their ability to answers is overwhelmed. They do not know where or to whom to turn and they don't know where to start. To add to their crisis, it seems to them as if no one is interested or willing to help them. They have to struggle on while it appears that no one even knows of their existence.

God's Sense of Humor

God also has a sense of humor: why else would He have made the giraffe, the toad or even people? God can laugh. He sees the plans of the people hungry for power and avaricious people and He has the ability to do what is necessary to stop their evil plans. He empowers the weak and brings the arrogant to their knees. He waters the seed of self-destruction that the over-ambitious often plant when they lay their evil plans...

What are the things in your life that are mere impossibilities? What are the mountains in your life? Are these there in order to build your faith in the one who can enable you to ascend to the peak? Once you know that it is His will for you to pursue, do it with faith. Faith requires action when we know it is He who is leading. It may require risk. Faith is sometimes spelled R-I-S-K.

You have planted much, but have harvested little.... - Haggai 1:6

Have you ever worked and worked only to yield very little from your efforts? Such was the case for the workplace believers during the time of the prophet Haggai. Finally, God spoke through the prophet Haggai to inform the people why their efforts were not yielding any fruit. There was a specific reason this was happening.

"You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?" declares the Lord Almighty. "Because of My house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with his own house. Therefore, because of you the heavens have withheld their dew and the earth its crops. I called for a drought on the fields and the mountains, on the grain, the new wine, the oil and whatever the ground produces, on men and cattle, and on the labor of your hands" (Haggai 1:9-11).

God had finally had enough. His priorities were not His people's priorities. So, He withheld in order to get their attention. Zerubbabel was governor of Judah at the time. He was a godly man who sought to do God's will. He listened as the prophet gave these words; then he responded.

Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the whole remnant of the people obeyed the voice of the Lord their God and the message of the prophet Haggai, because the Lord their God had sent him. And the people feared the Lord (Haggai 1:12).

Sometimes God has to stir up the spirit of one man to initiate needed change. Zerubbabel was that man. Scriptures say, "The Lord stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel" (Hag. 1:14). God is stirring up the spirit of a remnant of workplace believers throughout the world today. They are seeing what breaks God's heart, and they're responding. Has God placed the spirit of Zerubbabel in you? Are you one who will make a difference for the Kingdom, or are you concerned about building bigger and better barns? The Lord is calling forth His people in these last days to make a difference. Ask Him what He wants to do through you.

Then Moses said to them, "No one is to keep any of it until morning." - Exodus 16:19

Have you ever seen God do something really good in your life only to find that you have abused the blessing He gave you? Such was the case of the Israelites as they were traveling through the desert on their way to the Promised Land. God was providing for them in miraculous ways. Manna was provided each day as their bread. God gave Moses specific instructions as to how this manna was to be eaten. God said each one was to gather only what he needed for that day. No one was to keep it until the next morning.

"However, some of them paid no attention to Moses; they kept part of it until morning, but it was full of maggots and began to smell. So Moses was angry with them" (Ex. 16:20). God was teaching the Israelites daily trust in His provision for them. He wanted them to trust Him one day at a time. If they tried to hoard, God put a self-destruct feature in the manna. Yet God also told them to gather two days' worth on the sixth day so that they would have manna to eat on the seventh day. Interestingly, this manna did not stink or have maggots.

For many years I gathered manna in business out of fear of not having enough. One day, the Lord decided that manna should be destroyed in order for me to learn total trust in His provision. When we operate out of fear, we can expect the Lord to lovingly discipline us in order to help us learn to trust Him. There is a danger when we seek to "insure ourselves" against calamity. If your actions are born from fear, you can expect God to demonstrate His loving reproof so that you might not live in fear.

Revolt Against This anti-Jesus Movie - Corpus Christi

The movie Corpus Christi is due to be released this June to August.

This disgusting film set to appear in America later this year and it depicts Jesus and his disciples as homosexuals! As a play, this has already been in theaters for a while. It's called Corpus Christi ' which means 'The Christ Body.' It's a revolting mockery of our Lord. But, we can make a difference. That's why I am sending this e-mail to you. If you do send this around, we may be able to prevent this film from showing in America and South Africa.
Apparently, some regions in Europe have already banned the film. We need a lot of prayers and a lot of e-mails.

As a Christian I want to take a stand in what I believe in and stop the mockery of Jesus Christ our Savior.

At the risk of a bit of inconvenience, I'm forwarding this to all I think would appreciate it. Please help us prevent such offenses against our Lord. It will take you less than 2 minutes! If you are not interested, and do not have the 2 Minutes it will take to do this , please don't complain when God does not have time for you, because He is far busier than we are..

Remember, Jesus said 'Deny Me on earth and I'll deny you before my Father'

The Multiplier of Our Every Need

Mark 6:41-46
"And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fish He divided among them all. So they all ate and were filled. And they took up twelve baskets full of fragments and of the fish. Now those who had eaten the loaves were about five thousand men.

Immediately He made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, to Bethsaida, while He sent the multitude away. And when He had sent them away, He departed to the mountain to pray".

Jesus told the disciples not to send the multitude away but rather to feed them. Then by raw faith, calling those things which weren't as if they were, He took the little boy's breakfast -two small sardines and five small barley loaves of bread. Jesus blessed them, and multiplied the food! Five thousand men (not counting the women and the children who were there with them) were fed, and twelve baskets full of leftovers were collected that very same day.

We need to ask ourselves a question. Have we ever really gone without food? Why is it then that we continually fret and worry and get stress out to the extent that we cause ourselves to be physically sick with ulcers, high blood pressure, or depression? Yet in the meantime Jesus has always given us enough food and clothes for that very day.

Do you remember the story of the two little birds sitting on the telephone line? The one little finch said to his friend, "Why are the people running to and fro, storing up food and goods in their houses and looking so worried and stressed out?"

The other little bird replied, "They probably do not know our Father in heaven who supplies all of your and my needs everyday." (Mark 11:22.)

Faith Without Works is Dead

Robert Schuller once spoke of his father who was a farmer in the Midwest of America, a place that was very familiar with tornadoes. A tornado came and literally cleared the surface of the earth. It destroyed all the barns, the houses, and took the cattle and the tractors up into the sky and they never saw them again. He has a favourite saying: Tough times don’t last but tough people do.” All those farmers moved away but his dad went back and rebuilt his farm and started again.

Faith is a doing word. It’s no use sitting down in your armchair and waiting for God to miraculously come and put everything right. God will honor hard work every single time. Faith is actually the substance of things hoped for, it’s the evidence of things not yet seen (Hebrews 11:1). God gives you a Word as you wait on Him, then you go out and you do it. If Peter hadn’t got out of the boat and walked on the water, Jesus could never have helped him. Peter had to get out of the boat and walk towards Jesus.

Yes, the troubles of his life can sometimes swamp you, like they did with Peter. He took his eyes off Jesus for a moment and looked at the size of the waves. Fear came into his heart and he started to sink but, praise God, the Lord was able to reach out and pick him up. Many a man of faith has started going under at some time in his life, but God always honors faith and He will time and time again help a man who is walking by faith. But, no matter how many natural gifts he may have, the man who stays in the boat, who stays seated in his armchair, will never achieve his full potential unless he gets up and starts to move.

When a person said to Gary Player,”You’re so lucky, Gary, that you’re such a good golfer.” He said, “Yes, it’s amazing. The harder I practice, the luckier I seem to become!”

Faith is a doing word. As we start to exercise our faith and begin to use the natural abilities God has given to us, we will literally move mountains for God.

Revitalizing Your Mind

Running your own home based internet business is at times very mind boggling. Sometimes you get bogged down so deep that no matter how much you struggle to find a way out, you just head in a different direction in the same old rut. The truth is that your mind is also in a rut and you must take steps to revitalize yourself before you can function at your highest capacity. "For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost." Luke 19:10 NKJV. Jesus knew the product He had to offer. "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly". John 10:10 (NKJV)

Take a sheet of paper and write the first heading

"My Lifetime Dreams and Goals"- here write in total everything you would like to become, do or have during lifetime. Dream in detail on paper

Second heading will be:
"My Twelve-Month Goals" - list everything you want to get done within the next twelve months.

Third heading will be:
"My Thirty Days-Day Goals" - write out in detail what you would like to accomplish for the next thirty days.

Last heading goes like this:
"My Ideal Success Daily Routine" - now write down the six most important rituals you can do daily...The Secret Of Your Future Is Hidden In Your Daily Routine.

Set your goals realizing that your goals will change throughout your life. Someday you will look back at this very moment and be amazed at the goals you presently have. Things so vital to you at twenty years of age will become unimportant to you at thirty and so forth.

6 Helpful Tips Concerning Your Dreams And Goals

1. Invest one hour in writing down clearly the goals that really matter to you at this point. Keep it confidential and private.
2. Permit unexciting dreams of yesterday to die. Stop pursuing something that does not excite you anymore. Do not feel obligated to keep trying to obtain expired goals...if you are in a different place in your life.
3. Do not depend on others to understand your dreams and goals. Permit them their individuality, also. They have every right to love the things they love. Refuse however to be intimidated by their efforts to persuade you to move in a different direction with your life.
4. Never make permanent decisions because of temporary feelings. One young lady got so excited about a new friend that she dropped the lease on her own apartment and moved into the apartment of her friend. Within a week she realized her mistake!
5. Avoid intimate relationships with those who really do not respect your dreams. You will have to sever ties. Life is too short to permit discouragers close to you.
6. Anticipate changes to your goals. Your present feelings and opinions are not permanent. New experiences are coming. New relationships are ahead. Stay conscious of this. When you evaluate and assess your goals, you will unclutter your life of the unnecessary. Set goals and update them continuously.

Don't Be Afraid Of Evildoers (Online Marketing Scams)

Do not fret because of evildoers,
Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity.
NKJV

The Lord reminds us in this psalm that we are not to be afraid of those workers of iniquity because they will soon be cut down like the grass, and wither like the green herb.

So often we envy the people in the world because they seem to have it so much easier. They seem to just get on with life. They steal, they cheat, they tell lies and do things which are ungodly, yet they seem to get away with it. If we look at some of the leaders in our nations performing outrageous atrocities, no one seems to lay a hand on them. Nobody seems to even care.

I think of the tragedies north of our border in countries like Sudan, where there millions of starving refugees who are being murdered every day. No one is doing anything about it. The perpetrators seem to be getting away with it. I see businessmen in the marketplace and governments which are openly defiantly going against the principles of God and they seem to be prospering.

The Lord warns us, don't even be concerned about those people, and definitely don't wish you could be like that. In a very short while they will no longer exist. In fact Jesus goes one step further and says that we must pray for those who persecute us and do evil against us because, unless they repent, they have a very sad future awaiting them.

Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's. Pay your income tax. Pray for your government no matter what, so that God can be free work on your behalf. The tragedy comes when we compromise our stand for God, whether financially or on a moral issue - even if it's in the short term - by saying, "Lord, I'll rectify this problem. I just want to get out of this deep pit I'm in." But unfortunately the devil doesn't play like that. When we get caught up in his web, he doesn't let you go.

There's scripture that says, "Be sure your sin will find you out." That's what happens. The so-called short cut, that quick-fix solution, never works. Do things the right way, do things God's way. If you owe someone money, go tell them that you don't have the money but you'll pay them as soon as you can. Don't try and cook your books. Balance your books accordingly. Don't think you'll get away with the illicit affair you're having, and that your wife or husband will never find you out. They will.

Today take it as warning. Don't envy the ways of the world. Don't envy people who seem to be successful in short cuts, because the Lord has said to us that they will be cut down like the grass, they will wither as the green herb.

Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you. Do things the right way. Keep yourself pure until the day you get married. Keep an honest set of books and your business will prosper. Do things God's way and He will give you victory; He will bless you. Most of all, you will sleep well at night.

For As The Man Thinks

For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. (Proverbs 23:7) NKJV

Your thoughts from yesterday put you where you are today. If you are in poverty today it's because you thought poverty yesterday. If you want to be a millionaire tomorrow, you must start thinking like a millionaire today.

How does a millionaire think? A millionaire who loses all his money will begin immediately to look for ways to make it all back again. His first thought is of where he can invest. A millionaire who goes broke today will earn it back many times over. We hear about the one who lost all his money in the stock market and jumped out of the window, but we don't hear about the dozens, even hundreds, who make it all back the next day or even next week. A millionaire thinks of how much he will make, not how much he lost.

Knowing where you came from will help you make some changes. The bad thought patterns that you have today are really habitual. They have been slowly added to your thought pattern from the early age. They began in childhood and they have influenced the choices you have made in your life and even the kind of work you have looked for or the career chose.

A lot of people think Internet Business is not easy to learn and adapt. I have found it to be very user friendly and profitable especially Internet Marketing. You do not have to re-invent the wheel, just follow those who are making it or have made it!!!!

Is it right for Christians to do business?

For a number of years I had this notion that doing business is contrary to Christianity. However looking or searching the scriptures deeper, I discovered very interesting findings.

Let's look at what Solomon, the richest man who ever lived, had to say in the Old Testament writings. "He who has a slack hand becomes poor, But the hand of the diligent makes rich" Proverbs 10:4, NKJV

Another passage from the same book of Proverbs reads, "The soul of a lazy man desires and has nothing, But the soul of the diligent shall be made rich" Proverbs 13:4, NKJV

Hard work is a good thing. No one can really know satisfaction in life without it. As I was growing up, I also learned poverty mentality from my parents, the teachers, to some extent the preachers as well. I grew up working hard to have just enough to get by and die with nearly nothing.

On the other hand, poverty is not a condition of being without money. It is a belief of the heart. Until we change and think differently, we will continue to be poor and live in lack.

Now there are different ways of making a living. I will only mention two here for now. First is offer your services to the employer and be called and employee, and have a J.O.B. Second is working for yourself and set your own paycheck. The latter comes with hard work and a lot of us dread this and instead opt for an easy route of J.O.B

What led me to blogging is a passion to finding as many people as possible who are prepared to change the way they are thinking and do something different pertaining to their financial positions and earn extra income to substitute their present incomes.
